This intensive 5-day course is designed to help you earn your Multi-Engine Rating quickly, confidently, and affordably — all while training with experienced instructors in safe, modern aircraft.
Program Overview
Duration: 5 consecutive days
Cost: $5,000 (all-inclusive)
Location: Gwinnett County, Georgia
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Outcome: FAA Multi-Engine Rating
Your tuition includes everything:
10 hours of aircraft time (2 hours per day for 5 days)
MEI/CFII instructor fees
Fuel
Checkride fee with our Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE)
Your annual membership fee to join the Grumpy Wings Flying Club
No hidden costs — just focused, professional training from start to finish.
How It Works
You’ll be paired with one other pilot-in-training and assigned a 2-hour daily training block for the week.
Each session includes:
1 hour flying as Pilot in Command
1 hour observing from the back seat as your partner trains
30-minute pre-session briefing before your flight block
By the end of the course, you’ll log 10 hours of multi-engine flight time, gain practical experience in both seats, and be fully prepared for your checkride.
Checkride & Beyond
At the conclusion of your training, you’ll take your Multi-Engine Checkride with our on-site DPE.
After passing, you’ll earn your Multi-Engine Rating and become eligible to check out other club twin-engine aircraft — allowing you to build time toward your ATP minimums and future airline goals.
