How to Apply for the Accelerated Multi-Engine Program

Follow these simple steps to apply and reserve your spot in the Grumpy Wings Accelerated Multi-Engine Rating Program starting January 1, 2026:

1. Complete the Online Application
Fill out the Accelerated Multi-Engine Program Application Form with your personal information, pilot certificate number, total flight hours, and contact details. Be sure to include any prior multi-engine experience if applicable.

2. Choose Your Training Block
Select one of the following 2-hour daily training blocks for your 5-day course:

  • 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

  • 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Each block is limited to two pilots, so early selection is recommended.

3. Submit Payment
The full amount is required to secure your spot.

4. Confirmation & Orientation
Once your application is processed, a member of the Grumpy Wings team will contact you to:

  • Confirm your enrollment and assigned training block

  • Provide your program orientation packet

  • Review required documents and flight gear checklist

5. Arrive Ready to Fly!
On your first day, please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled block for a pre-flight briefing and meet-and-greet with your instructor and training partner.
You’ll spend the next five days training intensively — flying one hour and observing one hour each day — to prepare for your Multi-Engine Checkride.

After You Pass:
Upon successfully completing your checkride with our DPE, you’ll be qualified to rent and fly Grumpy Wings’ twin-engine aircraft for time-building toward your ATP minimums.
